Here is the 2009 Braves outlook:

The official website of the Atlanta Braves with the most up-to-date information on news, tickets, schedule, stadium, roster, rumors, scores, and stats.

I really don't want to see Reyes in the 5th spot of the rotation. I hope it's Campillo, Hanson, or Glavine. It also looks like Logan will be our lefty specialist which I don't particularly like but since O'Flaherty and Ridgeway are the only other options I guess we have to make do.

Overall, we have the rotation to be really good. Schafer is going to be up at some point early-on anyways so I see him in LF.

I love the home plate celebration more than anything; plus, that was back when Dave Justice was actually tolerable

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

                Glavine is officially back: http://atlanta.braves.mlb.com/news/a...=.jsp&c_id=atl

                Our rotation is now set:
                1. Lowe
                2. Vazquez
                3. Jurrjens
                4. Kawakami
                5. Glavine

Now we just need to just find an outfielder on the trade market.

                  Re: 2009 Atlanta Braves

I just want the braves to keep all their upcoming prospects. They have the tendency to trade away all their top prospects for a soultion to the current season. If they just keep the guys in the organization and wait till they are ready they will be an amazing team. A good example of that is the Tampa Bay Rays. They let all their first round draft picks work their way to the majors and they made it to the world series. Braves could learn something from this.

Bowman and O'Brien both suggest that the Braves may be near a deal with Garret Anderson...

You know, he's not very good anymore. Fairly mediocre. And yet still probably better than what we have.

                        August at the earliest.

And O'Brien just updated, said it's a done deal with G. Anderson.

$2.5 million? Seems a bit much. But I do like the move.

How the heck is he fairl mediocre? The guy has NEVER in his career had a BA below .280. The guy's numbers against righties last year were BETTER than Griffey's. This is the guy the Braves should have been going after all along. A Anderson, Diaz platoon will hit over 20 homeruns this year.

Cause he makes a lot of outs.

So he has a low OBP. Big freaking deal. OBP is so overrated. BA is a much better indicator.

It takes 4 walks to score a run where it's possible to score a run in 1 or 2 hits.
