    Re: 2009 Atlanta Braves

Tommy Hanson was on MLB Network a few minutes ago - unsure if anyone else watched it. He was fairly humble, down to earth and even with his performance last year and emmense talent stated he shouldn't even be in the same breath as the Big 3.

Also, really enjoyed his perspective and how he throws the curve/slider.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Don't forget about Manny Acosta, He has more experience than Chavez, Dunn, and Medlen so I think he has a better chance of making the team than those 3 guys do.

I wouldn't mind picking up Damon for a year. I could live with an outfield of Damon, Mclouth, Diaz.. with Heyward waiting in the wings. Though if that Happens, either Diaz or Melky will probably have to be traded. Hopefully Melky would be the odd man out.

Glavine back to the Braves? ... At least its not to pitch again, when I saw it thought they wanted him to pitch.

He's the odd man out. I can't see him getting the nod over Chavez or Medlen. And the electricity in Dunn's arm will kind of force Cox to carry three lefties in the bullpen instead of just one or two.

You're thinking about this seems spot on. I don't see Acosta making the 25 man team really. He had that one decent year a couple years ago for us but he has to be the man out now in the bullpen.
