Maybe the Rangers can get a decent bat by trading Max and CJ. I really don't want to see CJ go, but there isn't really anywhere he can pitch right now. It seems that the Rangers could easily put O'Day/Oliver in the setup role, and there doesn't seem to be enough room in the rotation for CJ. I don't think Smoak will be up until June or July, unless CD struggles at the plate like he did last year. I hope Main and Kiker will be able to bounce back in 2010, and make a cameo in the majors. Also Moscoso, Hurley, Scheppers, Perez, Gutierrez, Font, and Poveda in the minors....this team is going to be scary good in the next couple of years.

I'm predicting an AL West title win this year! Just hope we don't draw the Yanks in the playoffs...

Can't wait to see what Feliz and Borbon can do playing the whole season. I actually really like that rotation 1 through 5, and that's probably the first time I've ever said that when talking about the Rangers.

Throw in the fact that they almost have too much talent in the minors, they could easily use it to make a trade down the stretch if they need to.

Rangers signed Vlad to a one year deal. if he can stay healthy expect 30+ homers we are talking about the ballpark in arlington

Vlad is a good signing. He can def hit in Arlington. Im very excited about this season and if we get our hitting back and our pitching improves on last year we will be a very dangerous team. Im thinking an AL West title and hopefully we can win a playoff series or at least more then 1 game

In that rotation I would prefer to have Feliz remain a reliever and use Harrison as a starter.

Didnt know where to put this but the Rangers have finally been sold for around $570 Million by Chuck Greenberg. It still needs to be approved by MLB but so far it looks good

I like it. I think this team is going to be a beast this year but with everyone else in the West getting better its going to be an interesting year.

If Hamilton stays healthy and the pitching holds up, this team is going to be a force to be reckoned with. I think Hamilton will be poised and ready to show everyone that last year was a fluke and he still is the same player in the first half of 08. I'm thinking MVP type numbers this year.

It is going to make a huge difference with Borbon's speed at the top of the order on an everyday basis. All its going to do is make this lineup better. I think he could easily steal 50 bases, which is going to be more fastballs for the heart of the order.

The one thing that I will be interested to see is if the adjustments that Chris Davis made in the middle of the season at triple A will carry over. My gut says yes and I think he will have a good season also. I have never seen a ball travel so far after such an easy swing. It rarely seems like he is swinging hard, he's just so strong.

Who do yall think should take the 5th rotation spot? I like Holland and I really really dont want Wilson to get it. I just dont see him being a good starter.
