Sorry, inside joke from our OTP team. By coincidence, my BAP was Drago and Chase was Apollo. We also coordinate our wardrobes.

13 runs in an inning, huh? And to think I was disappointed the game wasn't televised...

What a snafu with Burres staring tonight; if only the hotel didn't have soft mattresses the result might be different.

I know at this point I'm just beating the proverbial dead horse, but MAN the Pirates bullpen SUCKS!!. Duke pithces 7 innings of 6 hit, 0 run ball and is pulled in the top of the eighth after giving up a leadoff walk with the Pirates up 3-0 and the bullpen proceeds to walk in 2 runs and it takes 3 pitchers to get through the inning. Then Dotel gives up a leadoff triple in the 9th and the game is tied on a sac fly later so Duke gets a ND after a great start (gee, where have I seen that before). At least the Pirates won it in the bottom of the 9th. Okay, that's better, I just needed to vent.

This was the first night where the back end of the bullpen was bad, but the issue has been more the starters not going deep, so some of the weak arms have to go extra innings.

Wow! Another walk off win, this time from the Legend. The bullpen was called on early again tonight and pitched particularly well. (5 IP, 2H, 0 BB, 5 K). Lastings made the trip worth it for the Milledge People tonight.

Pitiful, absolutely pitiful. With this afternoons 20-0 loss to the Brewers, the Pirates were outscored 36-1 for the 3 game series and their season RS/RA differential is a truly woeful -57.

Was able to go to the game tonite, and it turned out to be a pretty good game. Was nice to see Morton actually pitch rather well, instead of getting lit up again.

I know team isn't going anywhere but its nice to see them actually play some decent games and atleast be within a few games of .500

Hey guys, driving to the stadium on Monday and was curious about parking. Any recommendations? I'd prefer not to pay much if at all possible. Any help would be awesome!

all depends on how you feel about walking. There is a cheap garage downtown near Cheerleaders maybe? I dunno the exact name of place, but its an adult bar. Anyways its in the $5 range, but you hafta walk across the one bridge to get to the park

Ok lets throw some ideas out there. Would you trade Garrett Jones for Madison Bumgarner ?? or say Vin Mazzaro or Trevor Cahill ?? I ask because Garrett will be 29 and with Tabata, you can put him in RF. Move Laroche to 1b and have Alvarez at third. Garrett will go to a team that is in serious need of offense. Bumgarner has bounced back lately and the kid i have a lot of interest in Vin Mazzaro is a jersey kid who has a ton of upside.

How many of you cringed when Jack Taschner threw that fastball to Ryan Howard in the bottom of the 8th? My wife laughed at me, because when Taschner released that pitch I threw my hands up to shield my eyes and let out a "no-o-o-o-o" just as I heard the loud crack come form Howards' bat. I mean I knew the Phillies were going to win by that time, but you'd think Taschner would know to throw anything else but a fastball to Howard. Oh well, maybe the game will be closer tonight, er... nevermind, Halladay is starting tonight.

Great game by Duke and the Buccos beat Roy Halladay.

Definately agree! Also was great to see the bullpen NOT fall apart. Meek, Hanrahan, and Dotel looked awesome. Hanrahan really impressed me in the 8th when he struck out Howard and Dotel striking out Werth on three pitches in the 9th, priceless. All-in-all it was a great game for the Buccos and let's all raise the Jolly Roger!

Nice walk off by Doumit. Man if we could just have a #1 pitcher

Doumit come through again in the 9th. Just a shame they couldn't hold the 1-0 lead and get Maholm the much deserved W after a great pitching duel.
