Abbey Burger in Federal Hill is a must. You can walk there from the harbor.

It is great to see that we have started off 3-0 this season. Good way to open and a good sign from the starters.

          Completely co-signed.

Also, if you go to Fells Point, hit up B.O.P. (Brick Oven Pizza), right next to Bertha's Mussels. Great stuff.

          When are you coming up?

I gotta be honest, I am a little scared about Monday. Matusz and the Yankees. Given how attendance fell off after Opening Day, it is gonna be a more hostile environment than this weekend. Once the smoke clears we swept a 99 loss team. I'm excited and think I will be going to Tuesday's game, trying to sit on the 3rd base line box, to be the descenting voice in the throng of Yankee fans. Oh well, 3-0 Lets Go O's!

I'll be there for their series against the A's the 27th through the 29th of July. If that's the week you go let me know.

Depends on if it's going to be just a day or a weekend (or couple of days). The easy thing is to do the Harbor and Power Plant Live, but that's the last thing you should do. If it's just a day, head to Fed Hill... I co-sign Abby Burger. Great burgers and beer selection. Fed Hill in general is a good, easy place to hit after a game. If you've got longer, a cab ride to Fells Point or Canton is better than Fed Hill to me personally. But I'm not 25 anymore, lol.

If you do head to Fells Point, B.O.P. is great, but you're in Baltimore... may want to stop in Bertha's across the street. They've got one of the better crab cakes that nobody knows about (bar atmosphere is a little blah though).

Markakis got hosed in the 8th today. Pitch 1 is a ball, but pitch 5 is a strike?

It's baseball. Now if there were a pitch on the far right of that diagram inside the strike zone, and THAT was correctly called as a strike, I'd agree with you. Chances are it would've been called a ball though. Hitters have to adjust to the umpire's strike zone every game, unfortunately. I'm ok with it shifting a bit as long as it doesn't stretch or shrink.

It's didn't shift though, he was very consistent all night then this AB he just seemed to say **** it it's getting late. He called those same pitches a ball to the next batter. It was very weird to say the least.

I hate being "that" guy, but strange crap always happens against the Yankees.

Re: Bird's Nest - 2012 Baltimore Orioles thread

So Dylan Bundy had another strong outing for Delmarva yesterday. Here is in line:

                                3 innings, 0 hits, 0 BB, 6 Ks.

The article mentioned that he hit 99 on the radar gun. I'm glad the O's are doing this the right way with him. limiting his innings right now. Looks like he is gonna go 3 innings for quite a few starts, then 4 then 5, don't think they will push him to 6 or more this year. So, hopefully he gets to Fredrick this season, I want to see him pitch but I am not driving to Delmarva to do it lol, unless I am on my way to OC.

                                From the article:
"Tonight was the exact same thing," Bundy said. "Going into each start, they want me to work on my changeup. I'm going out there throwing changeups and curveballs when I don't even need to."

Translation: Hitters can't even touch Bundy's fastball, never mind get wood on a curve.
Its almost comical that I would consider paying for MiLB.TV if they had Delmarva games just to see this kid.
