How 'bout it guys, that's 27-14 now and another series win!! The Nats may have some injuries like we do, but that's a heck of a pitching staff and we've taken two straight from them in their home park!!

Gotta keep this rolling... I'm starting to believe... We may not win the division, but this is the life that most of us have wanted to see breathed into this franchise for YEARS....

Meh, not much of an away game... and the Nats played horrible that series. Even the game they won, they tried to give it away but the O's just wouldn't take it. With that said, I'm really impressed that the offense just keeps on trucking. It looks like Britton may be back as soon as next week. If he can return to form and Matsuz continues on his recent upward trend, this run may have some serious legs.

I still don't see them holding of NY or TB but if they end up finishing 3rd in the division that would be a huge over-achievement in my eyes.

Hold them off? Probably not. But if they can continue to win 2 out of 3 in most series they can take advantage of injuries to those teams to make it fun and who knows. Maybe 2012 is the year of Orioles Magic.

LOL, this has been fun to watch though. The circus at third makes me wish Josh Bell didn't flame out here.

Don't worry, they're bringing Tejada back. And if he doesn't work out, Melvin Mora will be next. Hey, maybe Cal will give it a shot after that, and then Brooks?

Seriously though, looks like Roberts will be back soon. If he can find a way to stay healthy then Andino gets in the 3B mix as well. All I know is Reynolds needs to be locked at 1B, DH or the bench... and the same for Davis.

Hot corner, hasn't been so hot for a while now, unfortunately.

Saw a crazy stat. Arrieta's home and away ERA is about 3.27 runs different away. That is such a blow. So IYO who is the man out, when Britton comes back? Obvious answer is Matusz.

I thought so too, but the article mentions that he will be a free agent after the season.

He's gotten better every year. Adam Jones Is the real deal and the best center fielder in the AL not named Josh Hamilton.

Glad he's sticking with you guys even though it hurts my team lol

I know you posted this a week ago so your opinion may change but I definitely don't see Matusz being bumped. He's actually turned things around a bit lately and got some of his velocity back. I think Hunter would be the obvious choice.

I actually like Matusz a lot, probably more than most. I just don't see the team starting three lefties in the rotation. That said, I agree Hunter has stated to look like a good candidate. I say they go with a 6 man rotation!!!!

On a different note, Dylan Bundy finally got touched up, gave up a 2 run HR (I think maybe 3 run) for his first earned runs as a pro.
