Picked up my first baseball preview mags…check the NL East: Season will be a cake walk for the Nats according to Lindys. Guess we can just check out then.

I have already, have no interest in going to any games. Need to figure out if I even want to buy MLB.tv this year.

Meh...I'm a baseball fan first so I will always be watching/following, but I also have a feeling this could be a special year for the Braves. The pitching is too good and I just have a hunch the hitting will be better than last year.

Nothing will deter me from getting MLBTV. It's the best money I spend each year.

Happily I'm in the region so I get them all on tv, I'll still be watching. I'll also take my two trips to Turner Field this year plus this is my away game year so I'll see a couple in SF. Still a fan of the team and like to support them, hoping they surprise some folks and make things interesting.

Only thing I really like this season is our pitching staff. I think we have a solid 5 man rotation. Looking at the depth chart they have Eric Stults in as the #5 starter, that's the only thing I don't like. He's not a good pitcher, high ERA low strikeout pitcher. Will get you more L's than W's. I know Wandy Rodriguez has been nothing close to the pitcher he was back in '09-'12 but if we can get something out of him he can be a solid #5 and a third lefty in the rotation. We also have yet another lefty, young Manny Banuelos.....maybe he will pay off??
Offensively I'm scared. We don't have much anymore.

I don't expect anything from the season, but the pitching should be too good to miss. Just turn the channel when the Braves go up to bat.

Haha. I live near Seattle, so I doubt I'll get to see too many games. I'm still hopeful, but I can't afford to drop that much money to watch the Braves be nowhere near the playoffs.

I guess I'm the only one who's nervous about our rotation, too. Teheran is the only starter I feel really good about.

Wood and Miller should be good as well, but I expect Wood to regress some. I think Minor bounces back, but that's far from a sure thing. And who knows who the fifth starter is going to be. Maybe Folty is ready or Wandy is this year's Harang.

There's no real reason to expect Wood to regress. He had a 3.13 Era in 2013 and a 1.68 Era in minors.
