SMB2 PS4 -- Can you help me?

Probably most people are playing online, but I play a lot of exhibition games with my kids offline.

Our problem is that as soon as we log in a second user, guest or not, the option to use "other teams" -- our created teams -- disappears from the team select screen. I can select "other teams" fine, UNTIL a second user logs in for a local game. Then the option just disappears. -- But if I'm reading the description of exhibition correctly, we should be able to do this. The result is that we cannot play local games with custom teams except against the CPU.

Anyone who has the game, could you just test this out and see if you have the same activity?

Sign as a guest. Pops up to join then you hit A and you and your kids should be able to play. Press X until it has your gamertag at top then hit LB/RB until you see your created teams.

Thank you. I will try those instructions -- I have tried the guest approach before with no luck. I keep hoping with a certain order of operations it will.

I got a response on Twitter from the developers: "So it looks like you've encountered a bug and we're working on a fix. It's possible that if you both sign into PSN while playing the game that it will work for you until we get a fix out."

Looks like the patch didn’t fix it. I don’t know if everyone has this issue or just PS4 or just select people on PS4

The team replied on reddit and explained a fix. I’m not sure if the other user needs to have a PS4 account, but they suggested that first. I didn’t that to no avail. Then they suggested going into family settings and allowing the account to download or see user generated content.

That did the trick for me!
