    Questions about game

    Thinking about getting the game.
    1. Can you tell a difference in players abilities even when the difference is only 3 or 4 ratings points difference?
    2. Does the contact rating have to do with players ability to make contact or ability to get base hits?
    3. Can you switch teams you are controlling during games.....like bat for both teams?

    1. I don't think I see a difference, but it may depend on ego setting.

    2. Some of both, I think. How "forgiving" it is along with the hit rate. Of course, hitting the ball harder also helps (which power has something to do with that).

    3. I don't think you can. Not 100% sure.

Is the timing required to throw a normal pitch or a power pitch pretty much routine and the result is mostly driven by your pitcher ratings, ball location within or outside of the strike zone, choice of normal or power pitch, etc. or is their actually some precision skill involved in getting that timing down? I know the higher "green numbered pitches" (over 60) can only be achieved by throwing a power pitch.

There's timing skill involved on power pitching. You have to move the crosshairs and release the power pitch button at a good timing to get the really high power pitch ratings.

Thanks for the tip although my risk/reward grade for going to the power pitch is a solid D. I'm set to 50 EGO on pitching (which I know isn't that high) and even with a good pitcher-batter (CPU) match-up a missed power throw in the strike zone is big trouble. I have to work on my timing.

Yeah it can get you in trouble for sure.

I'm at 58 pitch Ego and I always cringe if I miss my spot with power pitching, especially with a mediocre pitcher.

Can you add more teams to "Your" Teams from the 32 teams of the SuperMega league or is the limit 4 teams?

EDIT: Forget it. I see how to add teams.
