I don't think the guys at Metalhead even know if the game will be released this week. The whole console certification process is more of a mess than ever because of the pandemic.

day1 buy, best new franchise in a long time - although I wish they added a derby/long-ball mode and also hope the devs do a different sport next as each SMB game has super long shelf life for me as it's not anchored down by real people/stats.

I am excited for May 13th. This game looks like the spiritual successor to Baseball Stars for the Nintendo which is still the greatest baseball game of all time.

Unlimited. I forget where I heard this, but I know that I did.

career stats better be one of the first things they put in. Franchise is pretty much useless for me without that.

Salaries, player aging, etc. take part.

But yes, they really need career stats.

Sadly for a nerd like me, ill be tracking stats in a separate spreadsheet.

Now I know that console players wont benefit from this, but maybe there is a way to mod the extraction of this data from the game, for the PC players?

There has to be potential there and someone cleverer than me could confirm. But I agree the game should have it and the positive noises coming out of their interviews is that they are listening and we may get that in a patch if its something they can do easily.

I mean its a 40 quid game, so its in that premium bracket now and id hope they support this for a while and am confident they will do.
