I would actually hope they could accommodate everybody now, considering they have EA's checkbook.

The MLB license is cool but I've grown attached to my fictional women's league and would like to continue it, with maybe more player customization and a stadium creator.

But as I stated, hopefully, they can accommodate those who want MLB and those who want to continue with their fictional leagues.

I said it before as well. Stadium creator and this game go hand in hand like pb and jelly

I think we do know the future. When it returns, if it even does, it will be unrecognizable, void of all the charm, and full of microtransactions.

Honestly I feel like SMB3 started going that way already. I loved the customization, but the gameplay wasn't as fun as the first 2. They were definitely trying to go a little more sim, while trying to keep some of the initial quirkiness. But SMB3 ventured too close to that line of being neither in my view.

Only thing I'm not a fan of in SMB 3 compared to SMB 2 is the overall presentation. I loved the color scheme and sound effects of 2.

I have to play this game again to see where the pitfalls are for me still, but it's the most fun I've had playing a baseball video game in quite some time.

i played tge original smb last night.
forgot how much better the view was after hitting the ball in play.
hopefully they add different fielding views. the views in smb 2 and 3 seem too zoomed out to me

1 was actually the best to me - I bought all 3 but it lost it's charm

One thing that I would hope that they would keep for SMB4 is the ease use of the creative tools

It is very easy to create decent-looking logos and uniforms and the ability to copy attributes to all players so that players can have color-correct shoes, gloves, tape, and wristbands, makes getting started very quickly.

I was able to set my women's league up in one day and it looked great, also being able to edit things after getting started is a good touch also.

I don't know if it is their intent to make it harder, but if they had a proper camera where you could track the pitch come into the hitter (catcher cam style) then I think I'd be able to hit at 100 Ego. Perhaps not easily, but it would at least be possible. Otherwise it's an entire guessing game. You're not tracking the ball in this game, you're tracking the cursor dot.

Also I'm glad I've always played with right-handed pitchers in this game, because I would hate to have a left-handed pitcher and look over the pitcher's left shoulder as opposed to having the broadcast-like right shoulder that I'm so used to. Having that customizable so that you can keep it over the right side would be ideal if I ever did have a lefty.

Just bumping this to see if we are looking at SMB5 at any point. Any info? Not sure how good 4 sold but it's a solid franchise to me.

It has been a blast and I love the customization as far a amount of teams, amount of divisions and so forth. Now if they will bump that 22 man roster up to 25. Or better yet 40.
Yeah, I have very few complaints with this game. I'd love to see further fleshing out of everything and maybe a stadium creator or even simple customization. Just hoping there is a new version coming out. It's too good not to

Pretty much the same game since it was introduced. Late cycle purchase in the future for 10-15 bucks if at all really.
