If you are looking for a game like The Show in a game like this, you are just going to always be upset with it. I much prefer this over The Show to be honest. They're just different style of games completely.

I don't mind the graphics but it is the same game again.

Gameplay is mostly familiar, yes. More stadiums, better sound (to me), a ton of more player traits, legends (the looks do not bother me), some great changes and additions to franchise mode... the list goes on, I have always been a huge fan of this game and still am.

I get it might not be someone's cup of tea, but it is 100% not the same game as SMB3. I played enough of all the SMB to get a good feel of what is new.

I’m curious, you say the list goes on. What else is on the list of new things added that are strong additions to the game?

Everything is subjective, so everyone needs to decide for themselves but here are mine:

• More Stadiums (Some really nice ones!)
• Quite a bit of new player traits
• Team Chemistry (Adds a new element of team building)
• Audio is better quality IMO
• Legends (Worth it to me)
• Shuffle Draft (Best addition)
• Franchise Re-Signing
• Graphics Improved
• Added small bits of ambient sounds

Just off top of my head. Enjoy the game if you get to check it out!

Shuffle draft alone makes it worth it for me.

No, I don't think that is something that will ever be in the cards. There are no replays, either. It's just not that kind of game.

They do have several cams for viewing CPU vs CPU games, but nothing that would work as gameplay. I think the game is so expertly dialed in that altering the camera might be a total pain the in the butt and ruin a lot of what makes the game great.

Kinda wild that in a game like this that there is no HR Derby. I haven't been involved much with the community over the years but hard to imagine that people haven't been clamoring for it.

A game like this could just give so many ways to play.

Well, the big problem is, Home Run Derbys aren't actually that much fun. They get boring really quickly. I've never played them more than a couple of times in any baseball game.

I used to think they should be mandatory, but it's not like I ever enjoyed playing them.

I absolutely love the game. Easily the best version yet for all the reasons BleedingRed mentioned.

I am doing a Legends Shuffle draft single season and having a great time.

I am also creating a custom league using Rock and Soul Legends!! Also adding in my Twitch streaming peeps and MLB Roster Creator easter egg players.

Team names:

The Prog Legends
The Hair Nation
The Metal Gods
The Soul Brothers
The Vixens
The Stoners
The Pop Rockers
The Flannels

8 teams mixed in with 8 SMB OG teams.

4 of these custom teams in one conference and then other 4 in the other conference.

2 divisions in each conference.

Gonna take a bit to create it all….but wow it’s gonna be a hoot.

And yes we will stream this league a lot!!!

This is my alternate baseball universe from my normal MLB 20 The Show obsession!!!

I’ve only created on team, and that’s just uniforms for now. But it’s also music related, and they would fit in your league, I suspect.

I made the Buffalo Kings for King Buffalo, my latest heavy psych obsession. I mostly use the custom teams for Pennant Race.

How do you disable the hints in the game. Can't find it in options anywhere.
