I think they just go away after a bit, or maybe when you raise ego. I’ve never messed with it and I never see them. I did see them a bit a first, but I just button presses through and moved on.

I started with Ego at 50 got my arse handed to me dropped down to 40 still seeing them. Gotta admit the game is growing on me.

You can also toggle different egos for hitting, pitching, fielding, and running.

You should also be aware that when moving up, you can get tripped by thh he e fielding, as I forces you to take over sooner and sooner, little by little.

In Pennant Race, this can really affect you because your Ego moves some each game.

Take your time on lower Egos, because you get a better handle on the nuances of gameplay. The traits really matter.

I absolutely love the game. Easily the best version yet for all the reasons BleedingRed mentioned.

I am doing a Legends Shuffle draft single season and having a great time.

I am also creating a custom league using Rock and Soul Legends!! Also adding in my Twitch streaming peeps and MLB Roster Creator easter egg players.

Team names:

The Prog Legends
The Hair Nation
The Metal Gods
The Soul Brothers
The Vixens
The Stoners
The Pop Rockers
The Flannels

8 teams mixed in with 8 SMB OG teams.

4 of these custom teams in one conference and then other 4 in the other conference.

2 divisions in each conference.

Gonna take a bit to create it all….but wow it’s gonna be a hoot.

And yes we will stream this league a lot!!!

This is my alternate baseball universe from my normal MLB 20 The Show obsession!!!

Yes, but only in solo play. I'm not sure why one would want to do that. Seems like it would mostly likely break the game, in terms of balancing.

Haven't found a way to choose your home stadium for season or franchise. Am I missing something?

Go to customization while in your season or franchise and you will see all the teams. Click on Edit and you can change the stadium as well as other things.

No it doesn't - so I didn't realize you could do that and traded a couple players to get the types I wanted and then customized them.

After learning you can just edit anything I went that route as it's less tedious.

My team is all 70s, 80s and 90s action hero's (jim kelly, bruce lee, Van Damme, arnold, dolf etc... linda carter lol ..grace jones, and so on...

So I tweaked a balanced team - had I just left it to whatever the traits/abilities were it wouldn't make sense. My team has many extremes as well as well rounded. Bruce is super fast but not a tonne of power - better at contact. Arnold, Dolf and Andre the Giant are all slow heavy hitters. Van Damme is very balanced and fast. I have Mike Tyson on the team as well and he's a 1st pitch blaster or whatever, good power, ok contact, decent speed, but really bad fielding and throwing (because he's a bit awkward) so for him I liked the idea of if he doesn't get the KO (HR) early, he wont' do as well.

Other notables I have like Andre is his speed is literally 1.

Pitchers like Michael Ironside (total recall) is all about throwing junk as he's not very athletic. Jim Kelly (Enter the Dragon) is a pitcher w/ lots of velocity. Sonny Chiba is a balanced long releaver. Vernon Wells (mad max) is my closer all velocity and wild.

So if you customize the roster to make them play like their personalities you totally need to do that. Arnie, Dolf and Andre better lead the team in HR's - Grace Jones, Bruce Lee and a couple others should lead in avg and SB's
