Still bitter about that beating you got two years ago?

We beat three Top 15 teams without our starting point guard and we were suppose to be a total mess until we got Marcus back. It's exactly why there are more and more analysts around the country each week saying UConn is the best team in the country, even Dookie Jay Bilas said it.

Usually when the #1 team beats previous #2 by 30, it means they are pretty good. But Ill take your word for it.

What am I missing?? The ESPN uconn schedule shows zona and zaga were 8 and 9 when you beat them, and it looks like zona is down to 24

Yeah, that was a typo. And there is no way in hell UConn would lose to Duke by anywhere near 30 now, let alone once Williams comes back.

Normally I would agree here, I think UConn really might be the best team in the country. But you are way off base if you were expecting anything different after Duke beat the consensus #2 team in the country by 30+ points.

It is a long season, UConn will have plenty of time to jump the Dookies, but as with any college sports poll, it is all about where you started. Duke started at @ 1 and they will be there until they lose a game.

And why didn't Temple get a vote?

Memphis at #5, I can live with that.

I've gotta say that I think Connecticut and Villanova are the two best teams in college basketball right now, in that order. And it's good to see the Illini enter the top 10, even if I do think they're overrated by 8-10 spots.

Yeah I understand that, my first post was half joking around. I obviously don't expect us to jump Duke without them losing.
