Sigh, once again missed free throws do in the Cougs. 6-3 in the Pac-10, all three losses come down to the last play of the game. All three games wouldn't even have come to that if they could hit their FT's down the stretch.

        Just got home.

Easily one of the best basketball games I have ever been to.

I felt Baynes fouled him. However Cowgill was mugged on the other end the possession prior and they let them play through it. I was more frustrated over that, the FT shooting, and the Cougs pathetic perimeter defense in OT.

Leunen jumped straight into him and Baynes had his hands up. Weaver is the one that got the piece of the ball.

Not just that though, there were so many over the back calls that went uncalled and the fouls were 6 to nothing (in favor of Ducks) midway through the first half. Oh well, I didn't expect the Cougs to win them all. Losing Kopriva is going to hurt a lot though because Mathews plays zero defense.

On the replay on TV, it looks like Baynes didn't have his hands straight up. They were angled some, which the announcer pointed out. That was enough for the refs to blow the whistle.

Going off of memory I think Baynes had his right arm straight up, but his left was definitely angled over Leunen. I felt it was a good call.

However, don't go by what those two announcers say, ever. Brian Davis and Bob Weis are just awful. If I had a dollar every time Davis screwed up someone's name or called WSU the Huskies. I was shocked anybody would hire Davis after the Seahawks fired him...even a 2nd rate, back alley outfit like FSN.

Anyone else finally going to join in with me and say Arizona is overrated?

I said they were overrated weeks ago. Elite teams don't roll over like the Cats did yesterday. I gotta say it was fun to watch.

I took enjoyment out of seeing Lute Olson get blown out as well. Maybe it was the booze though that had me laughing it up and toasting with UNC fans.
