VT keeps forcing turnovers but they can't even make layups. GEEZ!

I went back and looked, and came up with this. I count an upset as any double digit seed winning.

2004 and 2000 had the fewest upsets, each with three.

            2004: #12 over #5, #12 over #5, #10 over #7.
            2000: #10 over 7, #10 over 7, #11 over #6

To add to that, I went to see number of 2nd round upsets (that could be even a #5 over #4) and in 2000, nine lower seeds beat the higher seeds. In 2004, seven lower seeds won.

Basically, if you have a lack of upsets in the first round, it'll get made up in the 2nd round. So Xavier, Vanderbilt, Michigan State, Louisville, Indiana, VCU, Butler and BC should feel good tomorrow.

And I wouldn't call Winthrop over ND an upset. VCU was pretty widely picked as well.

Please don't VT! I'm telling you this is the Illinois team I've watched all year, build a lead you think you have it and boom start making mistake after mistake til you blow it or barely win.

                      Need to step up here.

Maybe CBS will flip over to that game after this VT/Illinois debacle is over.

Airballed a three that would've given NMSU the lead.
