Why I started the wave bye bye to Marquette thread...

I would first like to apologize to any Marquette fans, esp. nick that were offended.

I was p##### off about the game.

I am from Kansas City, MO. It sits on the border of Missouri and Kansas. My entire life has been fighting off arrogant KU fans.

Mizzou is like the little brother trying to gain respect. We got knocked out this year by an amazing perfomance from Marquette. So when KU (yet again) went to a Final 4 all I (and many other Mizzou fans) would tell KU fans back home was: "You better watch out for Marquette." Many upset predictions were made by insecure Mizzou fans (like myself).

Then for Marquette to have this nightmare game - well now hometown KU fans have even more crud to rub in the faces of Mizzou fans. I was hacked off.

So I apologize. (Though I posted a question in Steve's Forum I would like answered).

I thought Holy Cross and their big men had a chance against Marquette, but they proved me wrong ever since.

Look at it on the bright side, not many people can remember who was in the Final Four last year, Only a few remember that Indiana beat maryland.

It gives guys like Dwyane Wade a reason to come back next year and work hard again, and get it done.

No Wally Maryland beat Indiana in the title game. And Indiana beat Oklahoma in the final four and Marlyand beat Kansas in the other game in the final four.
