The UNC Oklahoma Game should be pretty interesting, Hansborough is going to have his hands full with Blake Griffin, he really is impressive. My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

When you consider they had a 4 min stretch in the 1st half where they didn't score from the field, then sat the starters w/about 2:30 to go, and the Heels made only 55% of their ft's, you realize what kind of defense the Zags were playing.Originally posted by VP Richard M. The key is the OU guards. Certainly, UNC hasn't gone against many strong post players, none of the caliber of Griffin. But they haven't shown vulnerability in the paint. Its been the perimeter that has beaten the Heels. If OU gets 40-45 from their outside players, they can win. If they have 35 or less, they are in trouble.Originally posted by VP Richard M. A key factor is if Hansbrough can get Griffin in foul troubleComment

I like UNC over OU because they will not need to double team Griffin, which will really put the pressure on OU's guards. My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

That Gonzaga team and Mark Few should be embarrassed at that defensive effort. I know they don't have the personnel to stop UNC but they weren't even trying. There were a few occasions on turnovers where Gonzaga players were jogging back while UNC players sprinted, just getting out worked. There is no heart, no toughness and no pride on that Gonzaga team. If I'm Arizona or any other traditional powerhouse with an expected coaching vacancy in the next few years I do not want Mark Few's name on the replacement list.
And Austin Daye has to be the most heartless "star" I've ever seen. That kid will get eaten alive in the NBA, my sister is tougher than him.

Boring night of games, wish the KU/MSU game had a better finish. Cuse picked a bad time to go ice cold. What was up with Devondorf tonight? He damn near looked like he was shaving points out there lol. The whole team played lackadaisical for most of the game. If Louisville shoots that well from deep they will be cutting down the nets in Detroit.

OU seemed to Dominate Syracuse tonight but SU really did them selves in tonight, Unforced Turnovers and they Missed way to many open Shots to even be competitive. When the Syracuse players look back on to tonight they will not say how Dominate OU is but how bad they played.
I was really impressed with Flynn. I hated that he got injured during the game tonight.Last edited by BigDofBA; 03-27-2009, 11:58 PM.***My Teams***

I picked Syracuse over OU in my bracket but after watching the game OU was clearly the better team. Give the Sooners some credit. OU had a ton of turnovers as well.
I like UNC over OU as well. That being said, if Griffin brings his "A" game and the guards can get hot, OU definitely has a chance.
