I have learned from my mistakes in the past. Overconfidence is a terrible thing. They still have a half to play.

Realizing that UNC was a favorite in this game would not have been overconfidence.

I fully expect a 2005-like exodus after this one. That year, Sean May, Raymond Felton, Marvin Williams, and Rashad McCants all left early. Wouldn't be surprised to see Lawson, Ellington, and Davis all leave early. Couple that with Hansbrough, Green, and Frasor graduating and they'll be young and all kinds of inexperienced next season.

IMO that's exactly what he will be - Marvin Williams (not terms of similar playing style or anything, just the situation). It's almost eerie how similar the make up of the 05 and 09 teams are.

Lawson and Ellington will go for sure. I highly doubt Davis will though.

I'm not sure it will be as drastic as '05. But if Davis leaves after a title, I won't sweat it. You win the ring, you've done your job. Got nothing but love for ya.
