All this time I thought Steph was a senior when (after researching) he actually is a junior this year...I wouldn't be surprised if he (meaning Steph) stayed another year.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Are you really trying to argue that Duke is as athletic as other top programs. Duke isn't trying to be the most athletic team, anyway. They understand the fundamentals, and I guess Coach K is just trying to recruit fundamentally sound players, not just athletes. I don't really know, but it is quite obvious they are not as athletic as the UNC's, Uconn's, and Pitt's of the world. Jon Scheyer, Kyle Singler, David McClure, Brian Zoubek, Greg Paulus, and the Plumlee brothers aren't exactly the first people you think about when you think about athleticism. It almost feels like you are comparing their athleticism to that of yourself instead of that of other top teams. Sure, they are D-1 basketball players, so they are athletic to an extent, but you have to be able to put it in context.

Come on, man. Your best evidence is youtube videos.

But continue to post youtube videos, you're doing a great job of convincing us of Duke's athleticism.

I actually said we're recruiting a lot more athletes than we have in the past, not "we're one of the most athletic teams in the nation".

Hairston, Dawkins, Thornton, G, E-Mail, and Nolan are steps up from the likes of Nick Horvath, Shav Randolph, Greg Paulus, Brian Zoubek, Taylor King, Eric Boateng, etc. That's what I'm trying to say, kthx

Is someone really saying that Nolan Smith, Elliot Williams, Gerald Henderson, and Kyle Singler aren't athletic?

Hell, even Paulus was a 5-star QB prospect and I personally don't like the guy.

The older Plumlee is more athletic than Singler IMO.

No, you didn't. You said "We have recruited a lot of athletic guys."

Players that you have recruited (past tense) are on your team now.

Plus, you were responding to a post that was calling the players you have recruited unathletic.

I was including guys that aren't there now, and technically, we have recruited them. It's a tad impossible for them to commit without a team recruiting them first.

Well, I figured I made myself clear when I included guys like Mason, Thornton, Dawkins, and Hairston in the first place. Apparently not.

Henderson is the only elite athlete that you listed in your post. Obviously the other guys are athletic (you have to be to play high-major basketball) but relatively speaking they are nothing special.

And who cares about Paulus being a 5-star QB? He's a mid-major level point guard.
