Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
Hey, I'm here to helpExactly. WWW or whoever else is posing as WWW these days, mainly erase bank records for a living. That way when there is anyone that loses their amateur status, this dude will go covert and erase, shred, burn, destroy any records so that kid can play at Kentucky.
Boy I'm glad someone knows what's really going on. Thanks P2K for helping me educate everyone

Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
Newest rumor about Cory Joseph is that he is torn between Texas and Villanova. With Avery Bradley declaring (I think he stays in) I think Joseph will end up at Texas, as I've felt for a while. Bastards."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
That would be a bit surprising to me. I thought it was a forgone conclusion that he was going to UCONN. In fact, I thought he had committed to them a few months ago??? Must have been a rumor but I thought he did.
Still having a hard time seeing what Rick Barnes has to offer that he is able to get these big name recruits. I guess Durant will go a long ways for him.#WeAreUKComment

Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
Joseph never did, he has some ties to the state (aunt/uncle live here) but he has never committed. I thought it'd come down to us and Texas with about a 65/35 split in favor of Texas, I didn't think Nova was still a possibility. Joseph is the only remaining stud HS kid that I believe we have a realistic shot at signing but apparently not anymore.
May be another long season in 10-11 for us.
As for Barnes, I think Austin is the biggest draw. Weather & females can go along way for some 18 year old kids.Last edited by ehh; 04-12-2010, 11:52 AM."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
Damn, I really thought we would get him. I don't think we have any shot at Knight, and very little on Selby and Leslie. I also heard Lamb wants to play with Selby. I bet almost all of them go to Kentucky, especially Knight as he would be stupid not to go, since Calipari has turned the last 3 point guards he's had into top 5 picks. Might be bad again, but I am hearing really good things about Shabazz Napier, our newest recruit.Joseph never did, he has some ties to the state (aunt/uncle live here) but he has never committed. Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
Yeah man, it's looking more and more like he will be able to play. http://tourney.si.com/2010/03/24/new...f=twitter_feed
I think that in the end he will be able to play, but may miss some games. Like you said though, you never know. Now Playing: FIFA 15, NBA2K15Comment

Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
No offense to UT fans, but I still have no idea why Barnes keeps getting top talent. Tristan Thompson and Cory Joseph have lived in the same house at Findlay Prep (along with the rest of the team), I think that link may seal the deal. I honestly thought he was headed for UCONN. Never know how things may turn out.Now Playing: FIFA 15, NBA2K15Comment

Re: 2010 Recruiting Discussion Thread
Haha, well that's true but not what I was referring to. He hasn't developed any players, the Texas alums in the NBA were studs coming out of HS and didn't seem to benefit at all from playing under Barnes (Durant, TJ Ford, Aldridge)."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
