Ranked 16th in the country. I don't have to step in it to know cowpies are around.

Ferguson has some serious questions surrounding him that was making at least Indiana back off from Ferguson and I imagine most other big schools were doing so as well. Questions about his academics and attitude. A transfer to Hargrave Military Academy that left his former high school coach at Lawrence North to say some not so nice things about him calling the lost of Ferguson as possible addition by subtraction. Also said he's not qualified and wasn't taking summer class to get caught up. He might be a top 20 talent but he doesn't sound like he has his head on straight.

So, it really isn't all that far-fetched to see him end up at someplace like a FIU. If the talk of his work ethic is true he probably sees going to FIU as a way to get by without putting in 100% effort and Isiah needs some big time recruits so he most likely will let Ferguson slide by if that's what he wants.

Thanks for the intel on the 2009 National Champs. I was just wondering what are the national rankings of these players?

Perry Jones is now a top 10 on Rivals and #3 on ESPNU's ranking. I sure hope he signs with Baylor and doesn't change his mind.

sitting in the middle of that 2-3 zone should increase his defensive effectiveness.

I don't count verbals as "commits" until their senior year. But for what its worth, 5* PF James McAdoo out of Norfolk made a commitment to UNC. I'd heard he was strongly leaning UNC anyway. But coming to Chapel Hill this weekend during the alumni game had to be tough to walk away from. When you have Smith, Jordan, Jamison, Carter, Karl, Brown, Hansbrough, Lawson, etc all in the building @ one time. Seeing the jerseys in the rafters is one thing. Seeing the guys who put the jerseys there is another.

Big time pickup for the Heels. Everyone pretty much had him as a UNC lock, but it's always good to get the commitment.

                    Gotta love UNC:

                    This year: 1 5*, 4 4*
                    2010: 5*, 4*
                    2011: 2 5*

P.J. Hairston is the other 5* for 2011. 6-5 SF

                        Same.

Nothing really new on the Duke front, Barnes and Kyrie Irving are the two main targets and are both taking officials at some point. I know we're also after Roscoe Smith, who I'm not a big fan of. I see him as Lance Thomas v2.

6'4 Victor Oladipo from Maryland made his official visit to IU this past weekend and today he gave his verbal commitment to attend IU. Olapido is ranked as the 133rd best prospect in the class of 2010 by Rivals.

IU has one scholarship left open for 2010. The IU staff is putting the full court press on Irving and he would round out the class as the prize recruit. I really hope we can beat out Duke for Irving but, it's not going to be easy.
