Unless the Hawks find someway to score near the paint, Kentucky is winning this by 15. Wildcats are now getting out on the shooters. & the Hawks are scared to death when they put the ball on the floor towards the basket.

Orton got a cut above the eye, then the Miami player threw 2 elbows. But it looked like Orton got the cut from an accidental head butt.

I'm pretty sure we're going to get handled by Rider this weekend and we have a LONG way to go to hang with a really good team like UNC. Our guys have to learn when to be passive and not take every shot you get.. Bledsoe is out of control half the time and takes way too many ill advised shots. Cousins plays defense like your typical NBA 2K10 cheeser, hounding the defender from behind reaching every chance he gets. Razor Ramon turns it over every time he puts the ball on the floor. I don't like us running Wall and Bledsoe together for long periods of time.. Neither of those 2 guys are half court PGs and are better in the fast break.. I think a better lineup for us is Wall/Dodson/Miller/Patterson/Cousins, with Bledsoe the first off the bench for Wall, Dodson or Miller. That way we can push the tempo for most of the game instead of doing it for 2 or 3 minutes at a time and then having guys stand around like knots on a log for the next 5 minutes trying to catch their breath. Wall plays at such a fast pace that he looks like he's going to pass out from hyperventilation during every slow point of the game. I love Daniel Orton though, that dude is tough as nails. That's three times now this season that he's been hurt bad from freak accidents and he don't even bat an eye at it..

I would love to see what the score would be if the Redhawks could get a call. Keep in mind Miami is hanging out around the 3pt line, they are @ a size disadvantage. So Kentucky should be winning that battle. But it is clear there is a difference in how contact is called when the Hawks go to the paint & when Kentucky does.

Wall gets a breakaway to tie the game @ 52. 7:43 to go.
