Re: What about UT?
I found it interesting listening to Thad Matta after the game say, "I think people really missed the boat on the Tennessee defense. That was one of the best defenses we've played." I felt they could dominate the paint in the boards because of their size and I felt if Prince played a good game they had a good shot. I was just surprised to here Matta rave about the UT D. Will be interesting to see how Izzo schemes against the Vols. UT should have the size advantage again, but Izzo is Izzo and lord knows what he's going to come up with.Comment

Re: What about UT?
I am hoping for this as well, we need him to make this a huge recruiting class for us this year. UT can finally show that they can go deep into the tourney and that will play a big part down the road in recruiting. I am so amazed what this team has accomplished thus far in the tourney. A month ago, I would have never thought we would be in this position much less a real good chance to make the Final Four. I had said before this game that the matchup between Prince and Turner would be the deciding factor in the game. Turner played wonderfully, but Prince was with him most of the later part of the second half, and that was the difference in the game imo.
Georgia is the team to watch next season. Leslie could have a breakout year. Thompkins was Antwan Jamison lite last season and he could be like Jamison(UNC) next year. Ware played well but was inconsistent and they get one of the better transfers in the nation with Gerald Robinson Jr. They lack depth but they expect a big spring in recruiting with Dwayne Polee being head honcho. They could be something special next year. Also, watch for UCONN, especially if they land Joseph from Findlay Prep.Last edited by Primerica; 03-27-2010, 11:21 PM.Comment
