Re: The Case for Rooting Against Duke...
Awful funny that MSU, and WVU both have done that recently. Hey hate us that means we are still relevant. When you stop caring if we win or lose that's when I'm gonna worry. Btw it's become quite clear that the only well called game is when Duke loses. You don't hear the moaning about the refs we when lose, but if we win there is always going to be one call that "decides" the whole outcome of the game, and not the previous 39 mins.President of the Devils Den

Duke..smuke...
My sole reason for rooting against them is because they are not Butler. Come on..how awesome would it be to have a mid-major win both NIT and NCAA championships!?
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

A Duke fan commenting on officiating should not be allowed. Period. Just enjoy the ride that you're given every game and be thankful. Re: The Case for Rooting Against Duke...
And fans whining about a Duke game every single game shouldn't either, but hey its the way it is. If we win by 20 there's a call that "cost" said team a game 3:13 mins in the game that they could "never recover" from. Everyone whined about that charge call, but nobody brought up the 5th on Lomers when Singler was in the act of shooting and we had to take it out of bounds and ended up coming up empty on that offensive trip. Everyone remembered the charge though. Funny isn't it? Again the best officiated Duke games is the ones when Duke loses.President of the Devils Den

Re: The Case for Rooting Against Duke...
If they lose I could very well have a nervous breakdown like I did in '04, so you could root for or against Duke based on that.Comment
