Which NC game was better?

I live in Indianapolis, and was downtown in a tent party for the game. What Butler did for this city this one year in the final 4 here in Indianapolis, IMO is better than what the Colts have done for the with all their success in the last 10+ years. The city was just nuts all weekend! Wish we had the Final 4 here every year.

For anyone that's ever been here when we host it, not to try to brag or anything cuz I live here, but I seriously can't think of another city being a better host city, and all that we do when it is here.

My question is though, obviously tonight was an amzing NC game. But which one do you think was better? This one, or the 2008 NC game between Kansas and Memphis? It's tough one, but have to give the edge to this years game. Once the game went to OT in 08 Kansas dominated the rest of the way. And the fact that this was named "David vs Goliath" and for it to be that close is amazing!

Both games were good, but I would have to give the nod to Memphis/Kansas. If that shot at the buzzer would have dropped it would have been a game for the ages.

For sure, i agree with you there. Hate to go against Stevens cuz he's a great coach, but I thought they should've ran a set play instead of going iso there. That wasn't the best idea imo, but Hayward is their best player, and the one you want to shoot the ball, so can't argue there. Still wish they ran a set play for him instead to get a better look at the basket.

The Memphis game never happened although they played in on ESPN Classic yesterday.

Kansas/Memphis, in part because the talent was about 100 times better on the floor that night than last night.

Kansas/Memphis was way more sloppy than Duke/Butler. Add in the fact that Butler playing at home made it even better, and I think that puts the Duke/Butler game over the top.

I think they both stand alone on their own merits. I agree that Indy is the best host for the Final Four though. Been there twice for the Final Four in 91 and 10 and it gets better every time.

Gott hit me up next time its in town bro! I'm sure it will be back within the next 3-4 years. At least it better! Maybe IU will be good enough to make a run for it haha

Kansas and Memphis game simply because that game had a lot more exciting plays. For the most part I thought the game last night was rather boring to watch. Not taking anything away from Butler because I loved the story and all but the game in itself wasn't as good as the '08 game. The story was better but not the game.

I don't think it's fair to compare either of them. They're both great and they're both completely different.

One was talent vs talent. Exciting plays. Lots of future NBA prospects. 1 seed vs 1 seed.

The other was two good teams that play well together. Not that many exciting plays. No real great College players(as in All Time) or even NBA prospects. And it was a great story, a team in their home city, vs a 1 seed and one of the premier and most hated teams in the Nation.

They were both great games, but two completely different games as well(as far as the teams themselves, style of play, and the story's involved). They both stand alone atop the list of some of the greatest Title games of all time IMO.

Both great games but I got to go with Butler/Duke. Would of been better if Butler had won but maybe next year. 2 great coaches 1 a legend the other a legend in the making.

The only way I would've voted for Butler/Duke is if Heyward's half court heave had went.
