^ I read that Parrish article and that is the dumbest **** ever. Why is Calipari that concerned with the ********/psychotic Kentucky fanbase and what they're currently discussing?
Besides, when next March rolls around it's just going to be the same ol question for Calipari's teams...

Cal asked him to commit today to steer the attention away from last season.
And where exactly did you get that? Gilchrist himself said he chose today because today is the birthday of his dead father and that he wanted to wear #14 because of it.

Congrats on locking up your first 2011 one-n-done who will not lead you to a title.
You know, it's cliche for UK fans to rush to defend their team's defense when it's really not needed...but it's becoming even more cliche for haters to take anomalies (like four freshmen turning pro in one season) and try to spin facts to their liking. No one on the UK coaching staff expected Bledsoe and Orton to be one-and-done talents. It's just how it turned out. Besides, for those who actually follow recruiting, Knight is not a for sure one-and-done player. He does not have the same elite athleticism as a Rose, an Evans, or a Wall. He does, however, have a much better jump shot.
Oh, and it's also starting to get old to hear one-and-done players cannot win a title. I guess I must have dreamed up that 2003 Syracuse team...had some guy named Anthony on it. He was pretty good in my dream.

That is legitimately one of the worst articles I've ever read.
A few things stick out:
1. Nice fauxhawk broskie
2. How much he read into CDR calling Gilchrist "cousin." I assume he's never stepped foot in the south and certainly doesn't talk to black males from the south.
3.
A case can be made that the 2009-10 Wildcats -- featuring five possible first-round draft picks -- are the most talented team ever to not make a Final Four.
Really?
Wall and Cousins are certainly top talents and Paterson and Bledsoe are very good college talents, but this shows absolutely no ability to remember anything beyond last month.
The 2000 and 2002 Duke teams are close to equally talented and far more "experienced" than Kentucky was and they lost in the Sweet 16.
Going farther back, 1984 UNC had Doherty, Perkins, and ****ing Michael Jordan and lost in the Sweet 16.

Haha, man UK fans are defensive since Calipari took over! I'm just messing around man. I thought the TWO smiley faces made that clear.

That part is so damn funny.

Nah man, I'm not angry. I just want to show the rest of the world that the ACC and Big East doesn't have the best athletes. (That's an Apollo Creed quote parodied from Rocky IV for those scoring at home).
But seriously...it feels good to be back in the ballgame for these top recruits. One and Dones, Two and Dones, etc, doesn't matter to me....people are at least thinking about Kentucky again. Less than two years ago we were happy to get committments from players like G.J. Vilarino (Gonzaga backup PG), Dakotah Euton (will be a freshman at Akron next year) and Vinny Zollo (a kid that won't even crack the Rivals 150 for 2011). Crazy how one coach and one system changes everything.
