I can't believe UConn is hanging tough with MSU.

Only a couple of games into the season and you can really see how big of a cancer Jerome Dyson was last year. This team already plays with so much more fire, hustle, smarts and pride than last year's. Considering it's Kemba, AO and a buncha freshman that's a pretty big deal.

What a night for college hoops btw...

    UConn vs #2 MSU
    #1 Dook vs #4 KSU
    #9 Kentucky vs #11 Washington

    Damn, love it.

If UCONN could knock off Michigan State it would be such a big confidence booster for this team early on. Kemba Walker has been unreal early on this season. He definitely taken his game to another level this year.

And yes it is a great night for College Hoops the two games coming up are are BIG early season match ups.

Virginia had a much, much better game against Oklahoma today than they did against Washington, beating the Sooners 74 to 56. Against Washington, we simply did not match up foremost, and on top of that played terribly defensively. Against OU we were much better in both regards.

One guy I really like on this Hoos team is sophomore point guard Jontel Evans. He's limited offensively, but he's quick and is a tremendous one-on-one defender. He's exactly the kind of guy we need at the top of Tony Bennett's defense.

I kept waiting for Lucas to hit a big shot but it looks like it`s not going to happen tonight.

Kemba is gonna carry that team far. As the season goes on and those freshmen mature, UConn will be trouble for everyone.

                          Huuuuuge win!

Our on-ball D early this season is the best it's been in probably a decade. It was cool to lead the nation in blocked shots for 8-9 years or whatever it was but our guards tended to use that as a safety net way too often and slacked on the perimeter D. Now that we're small and quick for the first time in over a decade it's very nice to see ball pressure again.

Kemba has just been unconscious as of late.

Can't wait for the UW/UK and Kansas State/Duke games.

#18 Gonzaga up 65-63 on Marquette with 43 seconds to go over on ESPNU. Both teams need this win for a marquee out of conference win.
