How about if AJ Price plays the rest of the game and UConn pulls away?

It wasn't going to happen. I don't remember exactly what Price's stat line was when he got hurt but it sure wasn't pretty.

That's what happens when you have a team that doesn't shoot it well and they go up against a team with a PG who can hit the 3 and penetrate and a legitimate 6'8" big man with skills down low.

UConn just needed better talent to win that game. Give them one more shooter and they probably win, but that shooter was not named AJ Price.

You make it sound as if AJ Price was having a horrible game, he hadn't done much of anything but he hadn't tried to do much of anything, at the time of his injury his statline was:

0-1 FG, 1 reb, 1 ast

I would wager he would've wound up with some buckets and atleast a few more assists had he been healthy.

Their best shooter in your opinion (Price) was an average shooter by my standards. If they had a Dan Dickau or Chris Lofton or Brandon Rush on that team, they would have beaten San Diego.

I'm definitely not a *****. Like I said, I've been a fan of Duke and Seton Hall since I was a kid so I can't possibly be a Big East *****.

San Diego was just the better team and that's all there is to it.

San Diego was just the better team and that's all there is to it.

2. There's literally no logic in the argument that UConn was the lesser team when they lost by 1 point without their go-to scorer for almost the entire game. But I guess you're entitled to whatever opinion you have

I'll go ahead and say San Diego over Connecticut a few years ago.

And despite the heat I'll get for listing a non-Tourney game, Chaminade over Virginia in 1982 was and is the biggest upset in all of sports.

While Chaminade over Ralph Sampson and Virginia was huge, I have to say the Miracle on Ice remains imo the biggest upset in all of sportsdom.
