Heres to hoping this one gets vacated to, good grief UK has by far the most annoying fanbase of any school.

Congrats, you guys deserve it. My mom's a huge Kentucky fan, and she's waited 13 long years for this as well. These people can hate on Calipari all they want (been called a scumbag by many here and the most overrated coach in the Sweet 16 by Gottlieb), but those 6 players in the main rotation deserve this for playing their tails off. To the others who dislike Calipari, their opinions already made up, so just ignore them.

The only thing I ever harped on Cal for is his wasted NBA sabbatical for the Nets. Otherwise, he is to this generation of college basketball what Tark was before him

There's some funny dudes in this thread. The "Cal's a cheater" comments are still hilarious considering Calipari's name still hasn't been linked to any violations. Marcus Camby took money between December 1994 and March 1996 after he had already went to UMass for a year. Give me a break with the "facts" nonsense because you don't have any.

Also want to give a shout out to my man Harrison Barnes for costing North Carolina the game. You don't trash talk the best trash talker in college ball and expect to get away with it..

--Barnes at the 5:19 mark hits a 3-pointer over the outstretched arm of DeAndre Liggins to close to within 65-60 and starts trash talking DeAndre.
--Kellogg made a comment about how Barnes better watch it or he's going to get a technical.
--Barnes gets an and 1 fouled by Doron Lamb and again stares down Liggins..
--Cal takes Liggins out of the game and says a few words to him.. Barnes gets another 3 point play and this time Barnes stares at Liggins on the bench and throws his arm out towards Liggins before hitting the free throw..
--Liggins comes back in the game at the 3:18 mark with the score tied.. Harrison Barnes doesn't score any more from this point on.
--With UK up by 1, Liggins gets a huge block on Kendall Marshall and then comes down the court and hits the dagger three that took the wind out of UNC's sails..

Thanks Harrison, you pissed off the wrong guy in this game.

Congrats to Kentucky and their fans. Kentucky was the better team yesterday and deserved to win.

I love how all the Kentucky fans are now acting like Calipari is one of the classy NCAA coaches. In your fan forum before you hired him, your own fanbase had the same exact sentiment towards him. Winning must turn a blind eye I suppose. Congrats to the UK players.

Nobody is acting like he's anything. But a coach with violations to his name is something he's not. As the old saying goes, you shouldn't throw stones when you live in a glass house. Roy Williams is no saint.

How about "Nobody should throw stones." That's crappy behavior. My policy is: "No stone throwing regardless of housing situation." Don't do it. There is one exception though. If you're trapped in a glass house, and you have a stone, then throw it. What are you, an idiot? So maybe it's "Only people in glass houses should throw stones, provided they are trapped in the house with a stone." It's a little longer, but yeah.

Here is the problem with that statement and you can dislike UK and Calipari if you want, no big deal. But UCONN is on probation and they have been found to have cheated. UK is not on probation, has not been found guilty of violations under Cal, and is not under investigation.

Whether you think Cal cheats or not, your statement fails to acknowledge the facts, which is what all people who don't like Calipari do.

And wow, I just realized while I was watching Shaka Smart on PTI the way he acts is almost exactly like my JV coach was.
