Re: 2013 Recruiting Thread
So your not even a little envious of what Syracuse has accomplished compared to the Johnnies? As a program, Syracuse is in much better shape than anyone in the Big East. The only other program that offers as much as Syracuse right now is Louisville(I still think very highly of UCONN but I'm going to wait until the BE starts to make any predictions). Syracuse has been pretty unlucky when they have great teams in the tourney (Arinze Onuaku getting hurt and Fab Melo being exposed as a moron), that's part of the game though. My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

Why did you leave out Dion Waiters? I never believed Kris Joseph would be much of a NBA player, Fab Melo will come along, he is very stupid so it may take some time though. Scoop was not going to get drafted.

Their bigs get to the NBA (if they make it) and are lost on defense in spite of how tall they are.
I'm only sour at one get for Cuse...2014s Chris McCullough. I wanted him bad.
But as an overall program am I envious? He'll no. I respect whatever they're doing to recruit players but I think they lack severely in player development. And for some strange reason..their vaunted 2-3 zone gets exposed every year in the tourney.
I'm glad they're leaving for the ACC. I'm tired of the "we are NY's team" crap they spew when they're closer to Canada than NYC.Comment

Didn't mention Waiters because I forgot about him. And when I think of Cuse..I think of their strongpoints which are length and size...not guard play.

Re: 2013 Recruiting Thread
They will no longer play at MSG. I won't have to hear about it. The fans would show up at MSG with shirts made up proclaiming as much. Was rather annoying.Comment

Re: 2013 Recruiting Thread
There is a really clever way to stop Syracuse fans from taking over MSG, sell out your venue... As far as Basketball is concerned, they are absolutly NY's College team. I really hate how analysts always say that MSG is home court advantage for Syacuse, it's 500 miles away!My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

Whether it was planned or not, Duke Blue Planet posted this yesterday and it applies pretty well to Jabari and what role he would play at Duke:
