High flying and athletic! Haven't said that about a Beaver team since Gary Payton.

Assuming that we do the same to Hofstra, I'm really interested to so how we do against Texas and NC State/Vanderbilt.

Lets Go BEAVERS! Get back to your rightful place. We are the 15th or so winningest school in NCAA Bball history....lets start playing like it again!
The whiners from the Jay John era were at least a slight upgrade in talent from the whiners of the Ritchie McKay era. McKay's most commonly uttered phrase was "I wish him well on his future endeavors"

Wish I could ever watch an Oregon State game down here, I don't often see them in the OOC portion, an occasional PAC game on FSN, and then I get them once in person when they visit Tucson, although I'm not sure I can make it this year.

Looking forward to Arizona-St. John's tomorrow, two very young teams, hopefully the game doesn't get too sloppy.

      Let's go my school [CSULB]

Casper Ware maybe isn't underrated but more people in the area should definitely know more about him. I have no clue how he falls under the radar out here.

Long Beach takes out Pitt by 10. Add it to the list of big conference teams losing to smaller teams. This one's right up there with Cleveland State and Vandy.

I thought arkansas looked pretty good for their 2nd game with a lot of freshmen. At least pel never beat a decent team by 23.

My school (Central Arkansas) lost to a school with an enrollment of 800 people. I think our womens team could beat them...or scottie pippen by himself

I don't know that Cleveland St. beating Vanderbilt was that big of an upset. They have the majority of their team back from last year (minus Norris Cole) that went 27-9. They actually tied with Butler for the best record in the Horizon conference.

Long Beach is one of those teams that could pop up come tournament time as well. They had a pretty solid year last year, and have a bunch of seniors that will be wanting to make up for choking in the conference tournament when they were heavy favorites.

OSU's website streams the games. You can help the program and pay $10 to get the stream. You could also get the stream for free if you look.

We looked amazing at times last night....but the 6 minute FG drought showed up a couple of times. Seemed to be a killer in the past, but we played through it.

Cunningham will be an All-PAC 12 player this year. He completely dominated that game. Burton had a double double with assists and rebounds!

Oregon State is #1 in the country for RPI right now!!!

I will say that it was a pretty big upset. First of all, Vandy doesn't lose at home very often. Second, this is the best team they have had at Vandy in a long long time, maybe ever. Plus they were ranked #7. Maybe they were overrated, but they should beat Cleveland State at home every time, and twice on Sundays. I agree Cleveland State has a very solid team and they probably will win the Horizon this year, but beating Vandy was a pretty big upset in my opinion. Just because Vandy chokes in the NCAA tourney every year, doesn't mean they haven't had very good teams lately.

I agree that Vanderbilt should have won that game, but that was no different than a 5/12 or 4/13 match-up with the exception that Vanderbilt was at home. The little guys are going to win some of those games, especially early in the season when the smaller schools have the veteran squads while the power houses have a bunch of new guys they are working in.
