    Number 1

Who should be number one next year?

This is a large argument in my area, (Southern Indiana, otherwise known as Kentuckiana.). The ones I've heard the most are Louisville, Indiana and Kentucky. What does OS think?

    FLORIDA!

No but really, I think it should be Louisville. But I'm sure Calipari has something in store for this season

At this point you can't go wrong with Louisville, KY, or Indiana

IU's experience and depth are going to go a long way.
I really think they will be the best team in the country next year.

Louisville or IU then UK at a distant 3rd.

IU wins the North Carolina Memorial Preseason #1 award for "most returning talent on a team that did not make the Final Four last year." So I would go with them.

I don't think UK deserves to be #1 but to say they are a distant third is laughable. They have three legit first round draft picks on their roster and that's not counting Wiltjer or Harrow. Who on Louisville is a slam dunk first round draft pick?

I completely agree with what you are saying.
I'd say Dieng is a first round pick when he comes out though.

Blackshear as well (barring any other injuries). Siva may be a late first rounder. Behanan has a chance too.

I'm not denying that Dieng, Siva, Blackshear, or Behanan will make an NBA roster someday. But none of those four are guaranteed to be a first round pick like Noel, Poythress, and Goodwin. Cardinals fans have every reason to be fired up about 2012-13 but to say that Louisville and Indiana will be miles ahead of UK is just plain stupid. You'd think Card fans would have learned their lesson by now!

I don't disagree at all, I was just saying those guys have a chance and I actually think that Blackshear will likely be a first rounder if he stays healthy. Kid is a baller. The other guys have a chance but are not close to being locks.

I don't know what nba team would want Siva, unless he dramatically improves.

Siva is a good talent. He needs a good pg coach and needs shooters around him. He tries to do too much usually which makes him look bad. He has above average quickness and speed but no outside shot. I think he will go late first round with a good season and will likely develop into a very solid pg in the nba. He is also a good kid that works hard.

Now excuse me while I go throw up after giving a UL player props.
