Now excuse me while I go throw up after giving a UL player props.
I agree with your assessment of Siva. Truth be told, UofL has a lot of nice pieces that play well together. However, each player has a flaw in their game that hinder them as NBA prospects, i.e., Siva can't shoot, Behanan is a dreaded tweener, Dieng is not an offensive threat, etc. I will say the jury is still out on Blackshear; I didn't get to see enough of him (other than the Final Four game in which he played well) to make a judgement one way or another.

I don't think UK deserves to be #1 but to say they are a distant third is laughable. They have three legit first round draft picks on their roster and that's not counting Wiltjer or Harrow. Who on Louisville is a slam dunk first round draft pick?
Blackshear and Chane. If they improve definitely.

      Maybe Gorgs.

Like I said, the jury is still out on Blackshear.

Dieng has a chance to go first round in this draft because it's weak, however, he has to develop some type of offensive game to merit a first-round selection. He has a 50/50 shot IMO.

I can't disagree more with you about Behanan. He's a 6'6 power forward with average athleticsm and a shaky jump shot. He's a nice college player but I just don't see his game translating to the NBA at this point. Of course, he's only a sophomore....so he has more than enough time to develop perimeter skills.

It's tough to say, but I think Indiana or Louisville should start off #1. Both return a lot of talent, have solid guards, and great coaches.

Pitino said on ESPNU that he expects his 2012-13 UL team to make the FINAL FOUR and I agree.

Kentucky, Kansas, and Michigan round out my top 5. Yes, Michigan. Trey Burke returns along with Tim Hardaway Jr. Michigan also brings in a top class led by Mitch McGary and Glenn Robinson Jr.

NC State and UCLA are also two teams that I think could finish in the top 5 if their incoming freshmen can mesh well with returning players. Both teams will be loaded.

I agree with you about Michigan. Really like Burke's game. Hardaway is solid and John Beilein is bringing in a solid recruiting class headed by Glenn Robinson and Mitch McGary. Plenty enough talent to make a Final Four run.

I'm really hyped for this season though. Let's just hope that injury bug doesn't hit Louisville yet again.
