Herb has led them back to the NCAA tourney after a mid 90's full of mediocrity. If Powell left because of Sendek, then he is a punk. What, did Herb work him too hard?

Herb has led them back to the NCAA tourney after a mid 90's full of mediocrity. If Powell left because of Sendek, then he is a punk. What, did Herb work him too hard?

everyone at state knows it.

My cousin said at a pep rally when he told the students to stand up half of them wouldn't do it. I feel bad for him and hope he will do better but he has brought us back to the NCAA tourney, that i thank him for.

I feel your pain Wulf. It just seems with Herb we will wander in the halls of mediocrity doesnt seem like we'll have a team that will win the ACC, just finish middle of the road every year. We get into the NCAA's but it's taken him what 7 years to do so???? UNC gave Doh what 3 years, and he wasn't gettin it done so they booted him. Why have we invested so much time in Herb for such minimal results. We should get to the ncaa's every year. Now where we are now is a far cry from the Les Robinson years, but there is no excitement with our program. Our transfer rate is ridiculous and our OOC scheduling is down right bad. This year is probally the best it's been in a while but thats only b/c we were ASSIGNED to play Michigan in the Challenge. Our other toughest OOC opponent would have to be UW-Mill, now they are a good team, but we should have at least 1 top 30 OOC game per year.

It sickens me to see a team like Wake get a new coach and see almost instant success, accomplishing things we haven't been able to do since the Valvano years! Why is our AD so patient with Herb??? He hasn't really shown any flashes of success. We are still a bad road team, and we were a good defensive and rebounding team but now we are near the bottom of the acc in those categories.

LOL where is he now../He could've helped us big time...That was the dumbest move along with Rick Reickert(Heard that he's on his way to Europe..Yikes!)
