I hope all of the big men Duke is recruiting are watching. The offense is running through Mason (finally).

    Edit: inexcusable, Mason

UK has a long way to go to become a good team. Some good players for sure but they aren't a team yet. Hopefully it can happen by conference play.

I can already tell that Sheed is going to be one of my all time favorite Duke players.

Understatement of the night....UK really misses Anthony Davis.
He controlled the paint last year, they don't have that this year.

FYI, UC Irvine is beating UCLA 67-65 with under a minute to go. It's on Pac-12 network if you get that channel.

UCLA survives in OT. Irvine's coach seems to think there should have been a foul at the end.

Texas Tech gets Nebraska-Omaha tonight. Hopefully another W. It seems like the players enjoy playing for/learning from Chris Walker more than Billy Gillespie.

True, but AD was a once-in-a-decade game changer. Noel isn't Davis but, come March, he'll be the most disruptive defensive post presence in the nation once he learns that he doesn't have to leave his feet 100% of the time to block shots.

                        That's debateable.

No way, just don't see it in him.
He gets pushed around way too much.

Of course it is, we are 2 games into the season and it isn't March yet.

Similar to the post above, its only the 2nd game of the season. While he isn't going to suddenly bulk up and become a power player, there are things he can learn (ie how to hold his ground, not jumping to block the second he "thinks" the player will shoot, etc).

With that said, he may not get that extra stuff. All we can do is see how the season plays out and hopefully Cal, Payne and Antigua can teach him those things and more.
