NCAA Basketball 05 (PS2) -- Illegal Recruiting Tactics? Is the NCAA Aware of this?

But, I'm posting because I've actually found evidence of a game that allows illegal recruiting tactics:
NCAA Basketball 05 by EA Sports, for the PS2.
Look at these screenshots, from the "Recruiting" messages that the Coach gets. You get alumni, friends of the family, and even a high school coach offering to do you "favors" in order to get someone on your team. Hahahaha. This seems fraught with peril here. This looks like blatantly illegal stuff.
Actually, College Hoops 2K5 was a superior game this year. I just happened to get this game really cheap recently at a Gamestop, so I tried it out.
I'm not sure if anyone ever picked up on this, as I've been able to get most any recruit I wanted so far (At Texas, a 6-star program), without ever using the PDA function. I tried looking online for FAQs and Guides on this game, but most are very scant, and don't really go into this.
Still, really interesting messages here, don't you think?
