11/26 - 12/2 Game Discussion Thread
Not much on tap except for the Big East/SEC challenge at Madison Square Garden on Thursday. Kentucky vs Notre Dame and Marquette vs Florida will be in that one. Also the B1G/ACC challenge with Indiana/UNC and Ohio State/Duke.Last edited by RoundingThird; 11-26-2012, 07:04 AM.Red Sox|Patriots|Celtics|UConnTags: None -

About the Kentucky/Notre Dame game - I think Kentucky will continue to improve and I believe it will be a good game for the Cats. Also guard Ryan Harrow should be in the lineup as he began practicing again for the Wildcats yesterday. I'm unsure if he will be in the starting rotation as Archie Goodwin and Julius Mays both have played well recently at the guard position(s). (Have to root for the Cats in basketball, my girlfriend is a fan).Comment

P.J. gets hurt yesterday and we don’t know what the crap is going on,” UNC head coach Roy Williams told reporters during his weekly press conference on Monday. “Right now, I don’t think he’s going to practice today and if he doesn’t practice today, he’s probably not going to play tomorrow.”
A team official confirmed that Hairston suffered a mild sprain to his left knee and indicated that it was "unclear" how much Hairston would be able to do during Monday afternoon's practice.
Hairston is UNC’s third-leading scoring through six games, averaging 10.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per contest off the bench. The Greensboro, N.C. native is shooting 35.3 percent from 3-point territory (12-of-34).
Senior guard Dexter Strickland provided more details during his media availability.
“We were doing dribbling drills and the way his knee moved, I was kind of scared because I tore my ACL, so I know what it looks like,” Strickland said. “So when he did it, I was kind of worried, but the doctor said there was nothing wrong with his ACL and nothing wrong with his meniscus.”
Strickland said that while he doesn’t expect Hairston to practice on Monday or play on Tuesday, he does expect the second-year guard to be back on the court in a couple of days.
“P.J. is a little dramatic with his injuries,” Strickland joked.-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment
