How do you let them get the rebound?

What a buzz kill for Mbakwe to let Zeller get his hands on the ball. You fight back and will have a chance to tie after that miss but you can`t box out a free throw.

Wisconsin is taking it to Illinois, who might not be ranked for much longer if they keep this kind of play up.

Wisconsin is taking it to Illinois, who might not be ranked for much longer if they keep this kind of play up.

They shouldn't be, its pretty clear this team isn't a top 25 team.

Had a hot start in the non conference but playing teams who play defense and rebound in the B1G has shown what this team really is, Illinois may not even make the dance this year.

That said I think were on the right track with Groce, this team just has too many flaws, can't wait til he gets his guys in and next years freshman class should be a big step in the right direction.

Some Gopher fans on another board are REALLY ripping into the refs for the way they called the game. People I know, who don't normally rip on referees. Even an IU fan there says that they benefit from some home cooking calls. Just looking at the box score, IU attempted 40 FT's to Minnesota's 15!

I'm not making a claim either way, because I only watched like 8 minutes of actual game time (And I don't like ripping on the refs to begin with). Just wondering what you guys thought.

Didn't see the game but it wouldn't be surprising, the B1G refs tend to favor the home team and it can be pretty bad sometimes.

Eh, I didn't think the refs were bad. Minnesota wasn't getting the ball inside at all in the first half, so they didn't get to the line much.

Interesting that in the FSU/NC game the shot clock horn didn't go off right when the clock hit 0, but the ref on the court still called it a shot clock violation.

I like what i'm seeing out of LSU in this 1st half of LSU bball i'm watching this year under Johnny Jones then I did in any recent years under Trent Johnson.

Can`t believe somebody wheeled some dude out into the middle of the court in a wheelchair.

I thought the same thing. He actually fell out of his chair but CJ Leslie picked him up and carried him to safety.
