    Skill Level: College vs D-League

I was looking at players like Jeremy Lamb, Fab Melo, and other players who are excelling in the D-League. But many times it seems like some of the opposition is actually easier than what they were facing in College.

So my question is do you guys feel the D-League is as talented as Division I schools? If not, is the NBA doing these players a disservice by making them play against talent even weaker than what they had in college?

What makes you think the D1 is better (not trying to be a dick, just asking)? D1 has been a disaster the last 3-4 years and the D-League is full of grown men that were good-to-great college players plus some foreign guys.

Defense is a little more optional in the D-League but the skill level is much higher IMO.

I don't really know, it's just an observation. I just have seen some D-League videos and the amount of....I guess you could say...effort and passion...has been at times on par (or even worse) than some of your D1 teams, especially looking at Big East, ACC, Big Ten, Pac 12, etc

Perhaps it's your "Defense is optional" comment that I'm seeing.

im not sure you can make a fair judgement in this cae until college and the NBA get the same rules

shot clock, 3pt line, defensive 3 seconds etc

I will say a d league all star team would pummel a division 1 all star team

I'd say the D league is more talented. Just look at the bench compared to D1 schools.
          MLB: Texas Rangers
          Soccer: FC Dallas, Fleetwood Town
          NCAA: SMU, UTA
          NFL: Dallas Cowboys
          NHL: Dallas Stars
          NBA: Dallas Mavericks

As a whole DLeague has more Talent, but If you were taking the Top 12 College Players and Top 12 DLeague Players it would be Very even Matchup. I mean the Top 12 College guys would ALL be Drafted in the 1st round of NBA. Now if you matched Top DLeague team against Louisville DLeague would win 7 out of 10 times due to their Depth and Strength.
