What a way to end a history of regular season ACC play for my Maryland Terps.

      LOOKING OUTSIDE THE BOX

One area Adams is concerned about, however, is enforcing rules regarding the coaching box. According to the rulebook:

"Failure to comply with the rule results in a distinct advantage that is not within the spirit and intent of the rules. The rule is clear and concise. The head coach or any other bench personnel may not be outside the prescribed coaching box except when otherwise permitted by rule. After a warning, for the first violation, a technical foul should be assessed for any subsequent infraction."

In recent weeks, television cameras have captured Maryland's Mark Turgeon and Michigan State's Tom Izzo way outside of the coaching box on the court, pleading with their players to play defense better or foul an opposing player.

"We're going to need not only the referees to do a better job with that, but I would hope that over time, the NABC supports an effort to keep coaches off the floor," Adams said. "My real fear is that someday a player and/or an official is going to trip over a coach who's clearly and completely out on the floor. Then you have a problem you can't fix with a technical foul. You may have an injury.

Well it happens all the time. So I guess we just have to deal with it. Different refs enforce different rules. Look at Ted Valentine. One of the worst refs in the history of college basketball. He gets into the faces of players and coaches. And other refs blow a tech right when the coach says something.

As for MVC Championship, Indiana State played some awful defense in those last 2 minutes. I guess trying to strip the ball and letting the point guard literally go up for a layup twice without even attempting to play D is the way to go.

Can a certain awful team upset another #9 team in the country?

Good way for MD to end its final regular season in the ACC. Gonna be weird watching them in the B1G.

Ohio State and Michigan State has been a pretty entertaining game. OSU is up 68-67 with 30 seconds.

That loss really meant nothing to MSU. Rankings are thrown out the window, really wasn't going to help with the seeding for the Big 10 Tourney since Wisconsin owns the tiebreaker. MSU goes into the Big 10 Tourn with a loss....oh well, Izzo hates the Big 10 tournament. So we're going into the NCAA tournament with a loss, which means a 4 or 5 seed and MSU loves the 5 seed.

I had a great time in Ann Arbor last night. It is ridiculous that coaches are allowed to live on the court. There`s no excuse for it. The sad thing is that Beilein is told to sit down but jackass is allowed to stay on the court all night.

Yes Tom Crean is a jackass. Most of the conference would agree with that. I mean most of College Basketball would agree with that. Apparently you don`t watch many Indiana basketball games.

Crean is essentially a Spartan-lite, of course SpartyParty's going to defend him.

Damn, we can't even draw a foul apparently. We're driving to the paint almost every possession and we haven't shot a single free throw yet.

Wisconsin's interior defense is garbage. If we just keep driving the paint, we have a chance, as long as they don't shoot the lights out like in the first half.

The whole freedom of movement thing ruined everything Bo Ryan has ever taught them about interior defense for the last dozen or so years.
