    Re: Midwest Region Discussion

Louisville may have gotten a questionable seed (only a spot too low IMO) but they have a great draw. Louisville vs Wichita State is my most anticipated Sweet 16 game.

Michigan overachieved but I can't pick them to come out of this region without McGary. Duke is over-seeded as always though they might make it to the Elite 8. Michigan vs Duke should be fun if that comes to fruition.

L'ville vs Duke in this region with Duke headed to the final four. Can't wait to see the Wichita State vs Kansas State/Kentucky game.

I'm assuming you mean non-biased people? I'm picking them over Wichita State but I'm a Kentucky fan so... Kentucky has to get by Kansas State first though which won't be easy.

My Sweet 16 Teams for the Midwest are: Wichita State/Louisville and Duke/Michigan. I think Louisville makes it to the Final Four, but I think the winner of WSU/Louisville goes to the Final Four.

Gah, Kentucky and Wichita State will be interesting. I think Kentucky is way tougher than Wichita by a long shot. So in theory they could almost just feed the ball inside. However, Kentucky has played very shaky at times and I think Wichita could use that to their advantage. But Kentucky's gotta get by K-State first and that won't be easy

I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one leaning that way. I feel like the Louisville bandwagon is getting too strong and Wichita State is a very good team. This region is very weird, I'm looking at my bracket and now I'm leaning towards 3 1 seeds in the Final Four which I've never had before. It wouldn't be a surprise if Kansas State beat Kentucky. I have Michigan-Duke in the Sweet 16 with a Wichita State-Michigan regional final.

I definitely agree that UL's bandwagon is getting too strong but I still took Louisville because I think Harrell is such an x-factor right now that it'll be enough to get UL past Wichita State.

I can't wait to see VanVleet vs Russ Smith & Chris Jones.

Kansas State vs Kentucky will be a heck of a game. Seems like everyone is looking past it to UK vs WSU but that might not happen.

Yeah, I don't think it's a given at all that Kentucky gets out of the first round. They're such an up and down team and Kansas State isn't a slouch.

I don't see Wichita State making it out of this region. Kentucky might take them out.

Louisville got jobbed on their seed and I think they'll come out of this one.
