Soooo can you not advance the ball on a timeout in college basketball or are players just this clueless generally? This is the second time I've seen a team not immediately call a time out on a last possession. You get the ball, call timeout right away and advance the ball, not waste all your time dribbling up court.

The clock also didn't stop after the basket, so UNC should have had more than 1.6 left to inbound the ball, more like 2+ seconds

I thought that part was fine, the clock doesn't stop until it goes all the way through the net.

You can't advance the ball on a timeout, so the half court heave was probably the best shot.

nah you can't advance it on a timeout.

Either way that was a terrible decision to try and dribble halfway down the court and get a timeout in less than 1.6

im pretty sure roy wanted the timeout immediately after the made basket

i blame britt once he caught and started running he should have been looking at the clock and just shot the ball.

Congrats to Iowa State. Big time 3's kept them in the game, and Kane's shot in the end was difficult and he finished it.

Paige is human although he has been doing superhuman things all season. Proud of my heels. All things considered this year.

watch it again, if the clock stops when the ball goes through the net, it is about 2 ... UNC player almost had the ball in hand before the clock stopped

If the refs are going to go back and say what should have happened with the clock, they need to go back to the basket and adjust the clock there. They shouldn't say because the clock didn't start that you lose that time.

If the clock still shows the time, you need to replay that time. They would have at least been able to take a shot. I'm surprised UNC just stood there. If I was a coach I would have gone crazy.
