Cauley-Stein might have torn his Achilles (I saw stuff on twitter that was the fear), and if that is the case absolutely. That is a giant blow to this team. He's the second most important player on this team, because they rely on his shot blocking ability inside.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

That sucks…I thought it was just a rolled ankle. I hope that's the case and it isn't an Achilles."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

Congrats to the UK fans on winning the game.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

I see a lot of talk about the charge call at the end of the Michigan/Tennessee game. I felt the bigger missed call may have been that review where Tennessee was awarded possession with about 30 seconds left. That allowed Tenn to cut the lead 3 and pressure from the endline, as opposed to Michigan protecting a five point lead with possession from near midcourt.Comment

That and the fact that nobody is paying attention to the fact that LeVert had the ball cleanly stolen from Stokes on the charge call anyway.Comment

Elite Eight picks:
South: Florida, big. Dayton's a scrappy bunch, but Prather, Young, Wilbekin and Yeguete have been to three Elite Eights in a row and come up short. I think they're going to steamroll Dayton. Wouldn't be surprised if this game's over at halftime, honestly.
West: Really hard to get a bead on this game. Wisconsin can beat you in so many different ways. I think if Arizona can lock down Kaminsky, they'll grind one out. If Kaminsky has his way and the Badgers connect from 3, it'll be close. I'll take Zona, game in the 50s.
East: MSU. Seen too many ******* games like tonight from Michigan State over the years to pick against them. They always have games like this in the Tournament where they muck it up and maul the other team and make just enough mistakes to make it feel like they could lose only to do just enough to win. Don't care that it's UConn in the Garden, unless Napier absolutely goes off for 30+, MSU's winning this.
Midwest: Kentucky. Michigan has shot the lights out and blown the doors off their first three opponents, only to dick around and piss it away in increasing increments in the second half. They're due to either a) go ice cold from 3, or b) completely blow it and lose in the second half. Texas and Tennessee presented huge challenges for U-M in the post. Bless Jordan Morgan's heart, but Julius Randle is a different challenge altogether. I think Michigan really ends up missing McGary on Sunday.Comment

Idk about UK/Michigan. Stauskus worries me. I know he's more of a 3 point guy, but Luke Hancock got into the lane with ease against Young & Harrison. Not having Cauley-Stein there was a huge loss. Stauskus is so much better than him & can hit contested threes so I think he is going to have a great game.
Kentucky just needs to go inside early & often with Randle & Johnson, because they still have an edge there on the offensive side. I just don't know if they will be able to stop them defensively.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Dayton is being forced to rely on the 3 while Florida keeps getting to the free throw line.Comment
