Florida walk-on Jacob Kurtz startin in place of the injured Finney-Smith tonight. Funner-Smith will be available off the bench. Gators taking on Miami in th O-Dome to extend the home win streak to 33.

Liking what I am seeing from the Gators so far…much better offensive team and I think they have the potential to be better than last year. Michael Frazier has improved immensely.

Yes, this has been stunning…a 54-40 lead and they are cruising. I think Billy D got cute with his rotations, but it's early and you have to get guys out there and see what you have.

Florida really didn't run that last set well at all…way too much time off the clock. Not much you can do though when a guy goes off like Rodriguez has…he's made everything.

Nice win for Miami tonight. Angel Rodriguez was big with 24 and a huge 3 late.

I have to say Larranaga constantly exceeds my expectations. He's turned Miami around in such a short time. It is very early on, but if this is an idea of what is to come, there's no way a Canes fan can be displeased with his job so far.

I know Wichita State is really good but Memphis looks average at best. Their bigs are good but their guard play is awful. They could end up having a nice year and make the tournament but I would be surprised if they did. I think Josh Pastner is the most over paid coach in college basketball.

I expect Duke to dominate Michigan State and UK to win a close one over Kansas. If UK plays like it did in the first half against Buffalo though they will lose easily.

Duke looks loaded this year. This team is more balanced then past teams, yea, they got the traditional 3 point shooters. But Okafor and Winslow can really cause matchup problems, and Okafor will get doubled often which will lead to some nice looks. They could be scary.

Transition defense and defensive rebounding need some work, but yeah we look really solid.
