Louisville plays Cleveland State tonight. Thank goodness this is the last game of this "Global Showcase" or whatever its called.

I know smaller schools need the money and bigger schools need the practice/wins, but could we at least space them out a little more?

The only decent to good opponents you have before conference schedule starts are UK and Ohio State. Hard to space the cupcakes out around those two games.

But don't get me wrong, I understand and when we schedule that way it gets boring when we are good. When we aren't good, it is aggravating to have those teams hang with us and sometimes get the victory.

At least Indiana is a household name and we do play at Western Kentucky who could have a team capable of getting to the tournament. Long Beach State, from what little I know, is a decent team that has had tourney appearances.

I just hate playing all these games in a row. Can't wait until conference play starts so that we can play good teams/competition night in and night out, for the most part.

So since UNC just went down, which of the other Top 5 ranked teams do you think will lose next. Im picking #3 Arizona to be on upset alert next

Arizona San Diego State was fun to watch last night. They were two physical teams that really got after it. Wisconsin Oklahoma should be interesting tomorrow, I expect a lot of 3s to be hoisted.

So far this season the Big East has looked a lot better than last year, the AAC has been disappointing and the A10 looks top heavy. It should be interesting to see what conferences will play well in the next month of the nonconference portion of the season.

UConn Texas on ESPN 2 right now, it's very fun to see a game on a college campus again after all the neutral site games the last 2 weeks.

Jonathan Holmes hit a corner 3 with 2 seconds left to give Texas a 1 point win. Rick Barnes called a good play to get him opener, I think Texas ran the same play for Holmes when he hit a game winner last year.
