Michigan is probably not going to make the tournament this year. They don`t score well, don`t defend, and they have no inside presence. There were just to many departures from last season in Horford, McGary, Robinson, and Stauskas. Who would have known that Nik would blow up like he did and leave early last year.
What really hurt Michigan is McGary getting suspended for the entire season for failing a drug test for marijuana during the tournament. He would have more than likely been back this year if he had not been suspended for the whole year. Horford transferring made a bad situation a heck of a lot worse. They now have to rely on Ricky Doyle to play a ton, when he should be redshirting. Mark Donnal is not ready for major minutes and Max Bielfeldt should not be playing anything more than mop up time.

I expect Michigan to be much better offensively than they showed this past week. The Arizona game was to be expected and the combo of Stanley Johnson and Rondae Hollis Jefferson guarding the other team's best player is just scary.
