Re: 2016 Recruiting Thread
Gibbs is the next savvy combo guard to carry Notre Dame to unlikely top-25s and tournament runs....book it. Excited to see where Smith Jr goes....his name and "Duke" just seem to go together.College Hoops 2k8 (PS3) 2015-2016 roster by bpurc22 and aross

Re: 2016 Recruiting Thread
Duke could potentially have a monster, monster class for '16. Considered favorites or close to it for Jayson Tatum, Harry Giles, and Dennis Smith.Comment

At the same time, I feel like if Thornton stays more than one year, Smith will probably go somewhere else.College Hoops 2k8 (PS3) 2015-2016 roster by bpurc22 and aross

Re: 2016 Recruiting Thread
ESPN #25 V.J. King (SF) commits to Louisville. Despite a relatively weak 2016 class coming from Kentucky, UofL may be primed for a monster class if it can steal another 5-star and the 4-star PG from kentucky, drawing a blank on his name.College Hoops 2k8 (PS3) 2015-2016 roster by bpurc22 and aross

But like I said, very very good pick up.#WeAreUKComment

Re: 2016 Recruiting Thread
He's only a good pick up once his name is signed on the dotted line. It's nice to see he's moved UofL to the top of his list though.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

ESPN#63 Joey Brunk (C) from Indy verbals to Butler. Interesting developments as Butler, Harvard, Rice, and Georgia State have all picked up 4-star verbals already.
Not sure why you would assume this is just higher preference. King seems pretty set on Louisville and most people had seen this coming.College Hoops 2k8 (PS3) 2015-2016 roster by bpurc22 and aross

Re: 2016 Recruiting Thread
I've seen too many 5 star basketball "commitments" to UofL only to see them doing a about face decommit and end up at another school. It's never a done deal until the ink is on paper and it's into the basketball office.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. Re: 2016 Recruiting Thread
Was not expecting this really because we don't really get too many guys from down south... absolutely love his game though. Josh Langford commits to MSU.
Pretty excited about this class' potential after just missing on several big time recruits the last few years. Add Winston and Bridges and this class would be a monster.Last edited by CC; 06-23-2015, 11:46 AM.Comment

Re: 2016 Recruiting Thread
Anyone have any feeling where Jayson Tatum will end up? Cut his list to 4 (UNC, Duke, St. Louis, UK) a couple months ago but recently cut it to two. He hasn't specified which two he has cut the list down to. Most have a feeling it's Duke and St. Louis - and I agree - because he really seems to value his hometown, family, and relationships. Has a great relationship with Coach K.
I think he'll end up at St. Louis. Giles and Smith Jr. seem destined to Duke so may turn him away. Will probably ultimately end up riding on what talent he can recruit to join him at SLU. May also not be a 1 and done.College Hoops 2k8 (PS3) 2015-2016 roster by bpurc22 and aross
