Rematch with Xavier: not going so well right now. This has been rough so far.

And to think, this team had me believing after the Tire Pros Invitational... this is awful.

It's early, but I have been very impressed with Florida so far. Yes, they lost to Gonzaga, but they had every opportunity to win that game and today beat a decent Miami team.

If they improve during the season, I could definitely see this team making some noise in the SEC and getting a tourney berth.

This is the first real test for UCLA, pretty impressed with their offense. But they haven't played anybody yet, I think Tamu beats them.

UCLA should be really interesting to watch this season. UCLA Oregon should be a fun battle for the PAC 12 title. Arizona is a little depleted this year.

UCLA may have the best pure offense in CBB, and Lonzo Ball is way to good for a freshman. Kid is a playmaker first, but he can just about do it all.

But they don't really bang down low, and Tamu is exposing that, but yes lots of talent in the Pac for sure. I'm sure Oregon and Arizona will put it together at some point, when they get their guys back. Both teams are missing some key players.

Yeah A&M has taken advantage of that in this game and has controlled the pace for the most part. However that hasn't translated to a lead. The stretch that killed A&M was right after they went up 13 or 11-2 and they let Isaac Hamilton get a couple good looks. The lead disappeared quickly.

I'm interested in how the SEC plays out after Kentucky. Florida looks to be playing well, South Carolina got a non conference win they didn't have last year and A&M should be in it. I'm wondering how Auburn, Georgia and Arkansas will be this year.

I may be in Nashville during Championship Week so I may look into getting SEC tournament tickets.

Hope Tamu gets the win, gives the Sec some much needed recognition. As usual, the sec is underrated. It may not be deep or top heavy like some conferences, but from what I've seen TAMU, South Carolina, and Florida are all teams that are better then average, and will be ranked at some point.

And Auburn is immensely talented. Sec is no joke.

A&M had their chances but UCLA hit big shots down the stretch.

Yep, great game. D.J Hogg was terrible, he shows up it's a different game.

Lonzo Ball is the real deal.

Oh, and Jeff Goodman is a tool, that is all.
