Man that was like a heavyweight fight with both teams taking the others best shots and then getting off the mat again.

    What a game.

      Holy crud!!

Luke Maye, out of people, with the winning shot.

I love the fact Roy didn't call a timeout...he allowed the talent of his team to dictate the offense and find a shot, without letting UK set up its defense. Good coaching by Roy...great pass by Pinson...unbelievable shot by Maye!

My real bracket has been dead since the third day. But I did a "crazy" bracket just for fun. My Final Four there: North Carolina, Gonzaga, Oregon and Wisconsin. So close.

Another great instant classic between UNC and Kentucky..wow was getting worried late for obvious reasons. Love Luke Maye and glad he's finding his shot...picked the best time to find it. UNC is going to need Berry as close to healthy as he can be and HAS to play better against Oregon next weekend or they could be going home. Go Heels!

And they say all these kids care about is getting to the NBA smh.

Through tears, Kentucky's De'Aaron Fox admits that this loss is going to be "difficult to get over" and believes that the Wildcats proved to all doubters that they are a team to contend with.

It's easy to say that after a close loss, but if they really care about the university they would stick around.

That's in the school's best interest. I get where you're coming from but there's a bit more to "caring" then feeling sad after a tough loss. Everybody does that.

You can't pass up millions, I want them back more then anyone, but I'd feel worse, if Fox blew his knee out in college.

That's a very narrow and binary way of looking at it. It's possible for them to love Kentucky and be heartbroken about the loss and leave for the NBA (as Fox, Monk, and Adebayo will do). Kentucky will be fine, they're bringing in four more 5*s next year (and slumming it with a top 35 4*).

You accuse me of being binary and narrowly looking at it but the other guy says "You can't pass up millions?" Ok.

There is no reason why they can't stay. Being sad about losing is one thing (because everyone hates losing), but saying it when you have one foot out the door is another. That's just how I see it. Sorry. It's not like staying in college for a few years hurt the earning potential of guys like Westbrook or Harden or even "lesser" college stars like Damian Lillard.

How are you from a business perspective, gonna say a kid that is clearly ready for the NBA, should stay.

I'd love to have them all come back, but I don't want a kid to come back, and get injured and destroy his career.

Look at College football, Marcus Lattimore of South Carolina, should be making millions in the NFL., but his career waa destroyed in college.

What if Greg Oden stays at Ohio st a extra year, and never gets that paycheck. Because he loses all his draft stock because of injuries.

You have to think about your future first. Not the university, and not the fans.

I am extremely nervous about this Oregon vs. UNC game, especially given Joel Berry is fairly hobbled today.

And this is when I hate the vocal minority of my fellow fan base.

I realize the dude probably had the worst half of officiating in the history of college basketball, but this is ridiculous and embarrassing.

EDIT: Now apparently, the Feds are involved.

So? UNC has a huge size advantage that none of Oregon's other opponents in the tourney could use against them. I think UNC wins somewhat comfortably and prays SCar beats the Zags.

Oregon somehow stays underrated. They play strong defense, can score at will, they got the big shot maker Dillon Brooks, and Jordan Bell crashes the glass as hard as anybody.

On paper UNC seems to have the size advantage. But the Ducks are a good enough defensive squad, and have all that offense, it probably negates UNC's size advantage. Unc will probably win the boards, but I predict this to be a very close game.

                                Oregon has experience too.
